The blade itself is a solid bodied T10 tool steel affair that put Ryujin on the map, with an attractive and natural hamon temper line formed by the traditional process of claying and heating the blade until the edge hardens more than the shock absorbent spine. It is complimented with a suite of well made and sturdy fittings, from the neat and tightly wrapped ito of the tsuka over real rayskin to the glossy black saya and steel Fuchigasira with steel Musashi themed tsuba so that it excels in both form and function.

However the overall design is complimented with one of two versions of a crisply etched traditional Dragon horimono engraving motif to make it really come alive when the attractive blade is drawn a few inches from its sheathe.
